In Turkey, as in any other country, this is critical to the success of any and every investment. To support our clients, we work with the business risk consultancy firm, IRM. This is active in reputational due diligence and corporate investigations. IRM and IBS have overlapping shareholders.

IRM assisted the Turkish Government in the Libnanco arbitration, providing some of the evidence and intelligence used in the decision against the Uzans. Its core business is background checks/reputational due diligence studies of potential clients or partners. We carry out these ‘know your customer’ activities for major investment banks and investors. The profiles may be based on public record searches (trade registry, and media coverage) as well as source intelligence based on detailed and face to face interviews with suppliers, clients, rivals, and former employees.
