Sectoral & Public Studies

Turkey is a dynamic and challenging market. Linked in Customs Union for industrial products with the European Union and a candidate for full EU membership, it is rapidly adopting the principles of trade of the EU. But its entrepreneurs are young and thrusting – and looking for the best that the world has to offer.

All this creates major opportunities for new entrants who build their entry strategy on a sound analysis of the underlying drivers of their market – and this is what IBS offers. To date, IBS has carried out over 1,400 projects for companies wishing to build their business in Turkey.

It uses its knowledge of best business practices to serve both private and public sectors.

It is particularly active in projects funded by the European Commission, with a department dedicated to tracking the EU’s growing aid programme for Turkey. Since 2003, IBS has been involved in 21 successful technical assistance and framework contract projects funded by the European Commission. IBS has also been involved in two energy research programmes funded by the European Commission’s 6th Framework Programme.
