2006-12
IBS helped arrange workshops in Ankara and Brussels to present the results of the Encouraged Project on energy corridors to Europe to 2030 for electricity, natural gas and hydrogen. This was funded by the European Commission under the 6th Framework Programme for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration (Scientific Support to Policies). IBS was part of a consortium of 10 European research agencies. The consortium leader was ECN (Energy research Centre of the Netherlands): CESI RICERCA (Italy) led the work on electricity, OME (Observatoire Méditerranéen de l’Energie, France) on natural gas and FhG-ISI (Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research, Germany) on hydrogen.
